About the Role \n \n We are seeking experienced a Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy, control, and compliance across our warehouse and distribution operations. Headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley, California, Sycomp has successfully shipped, deployed and managed complex IT projects and supporting assets in more than 150 countries helping its Fortune 500 customers and global partners realize a world without boundaries. \n \n Note, this is an hybrid role, only candidates living within a commutable distance from the location advertised will be considered at this time. \n \n What You’ll Do \n \n\n • Maintain accurate inventory records across WMS, ERP, SOT and customer systems\n, • Lead cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes\n, • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, shortages, and discrepancies\n, • work with warehouse operations and sales operations to ensure inventory integrity from receiving through shipping\n, • Support inventory security controls, especially for high-value or sensitive products\n, • Prepare inventory reports, KPI metrics, and audit documentation\n, • Support finance, customer, and insurer audits related to inventory controls\n, • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives\n\n \n What You Bring \n\n • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics\n, • Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP (Oracle) systems\n, • Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and variance analysis\n, • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills\n, • Advanced Excel and inventory reporting capabilities\n, • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, accountability-driven environment\n\n \n Nice to Have \n\n • Experience managing high-value or technology products\n, • Exposure to multi-site or global inventory operations\n, • Familiarity with audit, compliance, or security-driven environments (TAPA, CTPAT, ISO, SOX)\n\n \n The compensation for this role starts at $95,000 annual. \n \n Technology Means the World to Us \n \n Technology connects people, enables business, fosters innovation, and helps organizations operate without boundaries.
