Job Description Retail Styling Assistant (Full Time) - Garden City, Long Island Our Retail Styling Assistants provide an exceptional experience for every Brilliant Earth customer. These team members assist our customers in finding their best jewelry match from our luxury product line. By meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, this team creates personalized experiences while sharing the happiest moments of our customers' lives. The ideal candidate will be able to work a full-time schedule that includes weekend days. This role is in-person in of our Garden City, Long Island Showroom. The targeted budget for this position is $22/hour. This compensation budget range may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the company. Responsibilities May Include: Sales & Customer Service: • Utilize sales strategies and forward-thinking problem-solving techniques to assist and guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions, such as ring settings selections and diamond options., • Proactively greet, check-in, and assist customers in the purchasing process, creating a memorable, one-on-one customer experience that reflects our luxury brand and product quality., • Guide customers to purchase, creating memorable and personalized experiences for each customer., • Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads to attain individual and team goals and revenue targets., • Proactively respond to online customer inquiries and provide sales assistance through live chats, and phone calls while focusing on a luxury customer experience, reflective of our high-quality product., • Develop and demonstrate product knowledge as it pertains to our diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry., • Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups, exchanges, re-sizing, and other inquiries., • Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions., • Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews, working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance., • Use our ERP system to manage your tasks and communicate cross-functionally., • Maintain luxury showroom appearance, cleanliness, and organization, including executing new product merchandising guidelines., • Serve as the liaison for all facilities maintenance projects for the location, including troubleshooting and performing minor repairs as needed., • Send and receive product from our distribution center, customers, and external vendors while reconciling inventory within our computer system and maintaining organization., • Skillfully enforce policies within the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests, and ensure product security., • A passion for the customer. Job DescriptionBackground: Forestdale is a NYC child welfare agency working to prevent child abuse/neglect through parenting, prevention, and foster care services, focusing on low-income and immigrant communities in NYC. Forestdale operates out of three offices to better serve the families of Brooklyn and Queens. We help thousands of families work through complex trauma, parents raise the next amazing generation of children, and youth successfully launch into adulthood. Forestdale’s mission is “to ensure that children and families have the fundamental assets they need to thrive and live independently.” Job Summary: The Family Support Preventive Program provides support for families facing challenges which can impact their ability to parent their children and keep them safe. This program uses the Solution-Based Casework model of practice to assist the families to identify family strengths and normative behaviors that they can use to address challenges. The Family Support Case Planner is responsible for working with families who are experiencing circumstances that threaten the safety and well-being of their children. The role of the Family Support Case Planner is to work with families to support, help strengthen and promote healthy growth and development within the family. Salary Range: Bachelors - $29.12/hr - $31.04/hr Bachelors (Bilingual)- $30.22/hr - $32.15/hr Masters - $30.22/hr - $33.24/hr Masters (Bilingual) - $31.59/hr - $34.34/hr Masters (Bilingual & License) - $34.43/hr - $37.09/hr Essential Functions: • Visit families in their homes, communities or at the agency as dictated by the family’s circumstance as well as the preventive mandates., • Engage the family using the Solution Based Casework Model., • Document all case activity in the systems of record – N.Y.S. PROMIS, • Advocate for clients in their effort to secure services, such as public assistance, health insurance and immigration issues., • Coordinate and maintain contact with workers at the Administration for Children’s Services, • Maintain contact with service providers e.g., schools, mental health facilities/therapist, substance abuse and any other services as indicated., • Participate in Family Team Conferences, Case Conferences, staff meetings, in-service trainings, and outside trainings for professional development., • Assist in emergency situations, as needed., • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all agency policies, procedures and governmental regulations., • Other duties as required.
