A strong emphasis should be placed on developing, coaching and mentoring the warehouse hourly team. The Shipping Lead will ensure that both internal and external customer needs are met. He/ She will work closely with all warehouse staff to ensure all product shipped is labeled correctly. The Shipping Lead also spends the appropriate amount of time on and in the dock/freezer area of warehousing enforcing GMP policies, FIFO, occupational safety and food safety /sanitation.
