We are currently looking for talented, educated and caring postpartum doulas, available to provide daytime and/or overnight support sessions, to join our perinatal support team. At MDE we provide in-home postpartum doula support sessions to support new parents as they navigate what it means to keep a tiny human alive. Our postpartum doulas support our families with anything they need during their postpartum journey, whether that is emotional or physical support, postpartum and/or newborn education, lactation/feeding support, the list goes on. PURPOSE: The Jewish Board's Adult Residential Division supports Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing adults with serious and persistent mental illness to live in the community with as much independence as possible. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Social Worker is responsible for supplying necessary clinical intervention within the realm of the program. Provide cultural competent and sensitive services. COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED • Familiarity with working in Windows environment, • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and application software VISUAL AND MANUAL DEXIERITY: • Able to read data and documents, including spreadsheets, reports and Electronic Health Records in printed form and on computer screens., • Able to input data into relevant systems, • Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A short-term contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist to support students in a school setting from mid-January to mid-February. This role is based in Newark, NJ, and offers flexibility to work either 3 or 5 days per week. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic interventions for PreK-12th grade students, focusing on developmental delays and Autism spectrum disorders. You will work primarily with 1-2 students who use wheelchairs, delivering tailored treatment plans to promote mobility, independence, and overall physical well-being. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
