Description We are seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. Key Responsibilities Sales and Team Leadership • Support sales of merchandise, accessories, and protection plans, • Achieve or exceed individual and store-wide sales targets, • Actively engage with guests and guide team members during the sales process, • Maintain visibility on the sales floor (Position to Impact) to assist both customers and staff, • Build team confidence by mentoring and leading by example Operations and Management Support • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members, • Support sales leadership in scheduling, performance coaching, and goal setting, • Oversee opening and closing procedures and maintain store readiness, • Authorize price adjustments, returns, and cancellations in the absence of store leadership, • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service expectations Onboarding and Culture • Serve as a role model for professionalism and high performance during new hire training, • Promote company values and reinforce service excellence standards Performance Goals and Expectations You will be evaluated based on team performance, sales goals, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities • Install new equipment, maintain and repair existing electrical systems., • Pull electrical wiring through conduit and terminate electrical panels., • Set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices., • Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components., • Bend and remove conduit, and install/replace lighting fixtures and systems., • Inspect, test, install, and repair electrical circuits using electrical tools and multimeters., • Program and read/interpret blueprints., • Familiarize with updated NEC codes., • Troubleshoot and install electrical equipment and instrumentation., • Understand the operation of automatic transfer switches and perform non-factory repairs., • Perform scheduled instrument calibrations and record results in computerized data files., • Communicate deficiencies to supervision according to instrument control procedures., • Set up and configure new instruments., • Interface regularly with internal and external quality/customer audits., • Manage data, filing, and organizational tasks., • Work proficiently with variable frequency drives.Essential Skills, • Experience with electrical systems installation and maintenance., • Troubleshooting skills and ability to work with up to 480v and 3-phase motors., • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics., • Proficiency in pulling wire and conduit bending., • Familiarity with industrial settings.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or G.E.D., • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience., • Ability to program for industrial instrumentation or have appropriate prior experience., • In-house training as a Calibration Technician., • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical background., • Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out, NFPA 70E, and other safety procedures.
