A significant portion of our practice involves representing offshore liquidators and insolvency professionals in the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands in U.S. proceedings, coordinating multi‑jurisdictional strategies to locate, freeze, and recover assets. Position Details Gluck Bluestone is seeking to hire a litigation paralegal to support senior attorneys in a number of capacities, all of which require strong investigative, analytical, and organizational skills. This is a unique and immediate full-time opportunity for a team oriented, professional looking to develop hands-on litigation experience in fraud and asset recovery litigation and who seeks continued growth in learning and further developing their paralegal skills within the legal field. This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to work both remotely with some in-office time either midtown Miami or New York City. The ideal candidate will also have a certification or degree in paralegal studies with a minimum of three years of work experience in the legal field, and have strong interest in financial and other fraud, banking transactions, corporate relationships, and international business. Experience with New York litigation, in state and federal courts is preferred (Bankruptcy Court a plus, however not required). Key Responsibilities: Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Core Competencies • Organization & Case Management: Maintain well-organized calendars, case files, and litigation materials across multiple matters while tracking court deadlines and attorney priorities., • Time Management: Effectively prioritize assignments, manage competing deadlines, and consistently meet court and internal timelines in a fast-paced litigation environment., • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate exceptional accuracy when reviewing documents, managing case records, and preparing materials for court filings., • Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys, clients, court personnel, vendors, and opposing counsel, both verbally and in writing., • Critical Thinking: Analyze case materials and identify key legal and factual issues to support attorneys in case preparation and strategy. Technical Skills • Legal Technology: Proficiency with litigation technology, including case management systems, document management platforms, electronic court filing systems (e-filing, particularly in federal courts across the country, and in state courts in FL/NY/MD/DC), and e-discovery tools., • Legal Research: Ability to conduct legal and factual research using platforms such as LexisNexis and other databases to identify relevant authorities and supporting information., • Document Preparation: Prepare and organize litigation materials including exhibits, filings, and supporting documentation for court submissions. Litigation Experience • Litigation Process Knowledge: Working knowledge of the litigation lifecycle, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation., • Rules & Procedures: Familiarity with applicable procedural rules, including the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and relevant state court rules., • Drafting Support: Assist attorneys with drafting and preparing legal documents such as correspondence, pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests and responses. Qualifications: • 3-5+ years of experience working as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or comparable legal environment, • Experience supporting attorneys through trial preparation, including organization exhibits, preparing witness files, coordinating trial binders, and managing courtroom logistics, • Familiarity with e-discovery workflows and court filing experience, • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent formal paralegal training preferred, • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Work and experience using legal case management and document management systems Benefits: • Annual base salary range: $55,000–$80,000.
