Job Description Position: Vice President of Food & Beverage Location: Phoenix, AZ | Relocation Assistance Provided We are conducting a confidential search for an accomplished Vice President of Food & Beverage to join a dynamic, private-equity-backed, multi-unit restaurant group on a national growth trajectory. With over 30 locations across 7 states and a plan to double in size by 2030, the group is poised for rapid expansion—and we’re looking for a visionary leader to help shape the next chapter. This is a newly created executive-level position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for developing and scaling best-in-class food and beverage programs that drive experience, innovation, and profitability. This is a highly influential role that will own the culinary vision, evolve the wine and beverage strategy, and elevate guest engagement through thoughtful initiatives like loyalty programs and wine clubs. Key Responsibilities • Design and execute a forward-thinking culinary and beverage strategy aligned with brand values and guest preferences., • Evolve the food program across all concepts without reinventing it—refining rather than overhauling., • Scale wine offerings and experiential programs such as wine clubs and curated lists., • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to optimize rollout, profitability, and consistency., • Oversee vendor partnerships, procurement strategy, and menu innovation with a strong lens on unit economics., • Build and lead a high-performance team including culinary and beverage leaders, with a focus on mentorship, accountability, and growth., • Establish metrics and systems to ensure product quality, cost management, and performance tracking., • Act as a thought partner to executive leadership and a cultural champion within the business. Ideal Candidate Profile • 10+ years of progressive senior-level experience in food & beverage, preferably within high-growth, upscale casual or full-service multi-unit environments., • Deep culinary expertise with a strong foundation in menu development, kitchen operations, and vendor management., • Strategic wine and beverage knowledge, with experience building scalable programs that align with brand and volume needs., • Demonstrated success in managing $100M+ in F&B revenue, scaling concepts, and rolling out LTOs and new product offerings., • Experience leading procurement, supply chain, and inventory functions., • Financially fluent with a strong grasp of restaurant EBITDA, P&L oversight, and cost control levers., • A leadership style that is humble, collaborative, and driven by results and hospitality., • Hands-on experience with new store openings, QA protocols, training systems, and regional execution.
