Job DescriptionAs a leading e-commerce retailer/distributor of replacement automotive wheels, tires, parts, and accessories, WheelerShip has been providing quality, affordable solutions for drivers since 2010. We are looking for a performance-driven E-commerce Marketplace Specialist to join our team in New York, New Jersey, or Ohio! The E-commerce Marketplace Specialist will own the day-to-day management and optimization of our online marketplace platforms (Amazon, eBay, and Walmart) to drive sales growth, improve user experience, and foster long-term brand loyalty in alignment with the multi-channel ecosystem. Responsible for the planning and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives for these platforms, the ideal candidate is highly independent with a strong sense of ownership over performance-driven initiatives; comfortable prioritizing projects, identifying optimization opportunities, and making tactical decisions; and energized by data-driven marketing! This person will make our marketplaces shine from day-to-day execution to strategic enhancements. Through a keen understanding of digital marketing principles, data analytics, and consumer behavior, our E-Commerce Marketplace Specialist will ensure that WheelerShip can effectively compete in the dynamic online marketplace environment. This role is crucial not only for achieving immediate sales targets, but also for fostering long-term brand loyalty and customer satisfaction in a digital-first economy. Core Responsibilities: As an E-commerce Marketing Specialist at WheelerShip, you will get to do more than just monitor sales of our products across marketplaces. You will take responsibility for the catalog management, content optimization, SEO, on-platform advertising, and overall marketplace business health. As a member of our Product Management Team, you will work cross-departmentally to optimize e-commerce strategies and analyze where there is room for improvement. More specifically, youll get to: Marketplace content strategy and management: • Oversee day-to-day marketplace activity and account administration, • Manage, modify, and optimize marketplace product listings in cooperation with the Product Catalog Specialists, including images, descriptions, metadata, tags, and categorization in accordance with platform-specific best practices for improved visibility and performance, • Ensure consistency between marketplace listings and inventories and our native branded website, • Oversee product and collection launches, coordinating content updates and merchandising strategies to increase conversion and order value, • Devise, implement, and optimize branded marketplace storefronts based on platform-specific best practices, • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for marketplace content creation and maintenance, including inventory and listing syncing, • Possess a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, • Partner with SEO team to review and edit site content and develop/implement strategyDigital merchandising and marketing:, • Help to deliver exceptional omnichannel customer experiences across the e-commerce ecosystem, • Support brand stewardship efforts to ensure that marketplace assets consistently reflect WheelerShips brand tone, voice, and values, and ensure a seamless customer experience across online platforms, • Support digital merchandising efforts to improve customer journey, especially as it relates to kitting, bundles, upsells, cross-sells, and related products, • Contribute to merchandising discussions with the SEO/CRO teams and support the implementation of plans, • Support the development and execution of on-platform ad campaigns tailored to enhance user engagement and conversion rates, • Provide real-time feedback to development, SEO, CRO, and marketing teams to optimize and improve the customer journeyPerformance analysis and optimization:, • Monitor key performance indicators such as traffic, sales, conversion rates, and customer retention to measure campaign success, • Analyze data and metrics to understand consumer behavior and sales trends, leveraging this information to refine marketing strategies and promotional campaigns, • Use spreadsheets in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement, • Evolve and/or establish marketing strategies based on the review of business analytics, including Google Analytics, • Possess a strong knowledge of the e-commerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices, and industry trendsCollaboration: Requirements: • 3 5 years of experience with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and web analytics in a fast-paced e-commerce business, • Bachelors degree preferred, Associates degree, or equivalent, • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining listings, campaigns, and e-commerce dashboards, specifically marketplace merchant dashboards for Amazon and/or eBay and/or Walmart, • Proficiency with advertising platforms, analytics tools, and managing online product inventory, • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms and integration tools a must, Magento and M2E a plus, • Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization and SEO best practices, • Ability to interpret and act on sales and traffic reports, • Familiarity with metadata strategy and product taxonomy, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Excellent written and verbal cross-functional communication skills, • Ability to learn our product catalog and our industry, • Passion for delighting customers with user-friendly, intuitive, beautiful online shopping experiences, • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills, solutions- and detail-oriented, • Automotive experience a plus, • Ability to handle end-to-end execution of product launches or promotional campaignsBenefits:, • 401(k), • Health insurance, • Dental insurance, • Vision insurance, • Paid time off, • Paid holidays, • Life Insurance/ADD Insurance, • LTD/STD insurance, • Tuition reimbursement WheelerShip is an equal opportunity employer.
