Core Responsibilities: The WS will: Receive, store, select, pack, and ship wire and cable inventory (COILS, REELS) Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse. Comply with company attendance point system Move material within the facility with RF scanners Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon safely and in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers instructions and company policies. Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections. Receive incoming material in accordance with company processes, accurately identify and break down the material, note discrepancies, and make the product ready for storage. Store and locate product in accordance with company processes within facility. Stage product for shipment and loading via LTL or Flatbed trailers. Accurately select, check, and pack orders following designated company processes for shipment, weighing, manifesting, palletizing, and loading. Sort and pack LTL and truckload shipments in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and carrier requirements. Consolidate inventory as needed; follow company procedures for handling stock discrepancies. Participate in company inventories Other duties as assigned.
