Job Description Job Title: X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist) – Contract Location: New York, NY 10024 Duration: 13 Weeks Schedule: 37.5 hours/week Shift Type: Day Shift (Variable Schedule) Weekly Schedule • Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 8:30 PM, • Thursday: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM, • Friday: 8:30 AM – 8:30 PM, • Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, • Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures using proper techniques, • Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings for optimal image quality, • Follow radiation safety protocols, including shielding and exposure control, • Maintain strict infection control and safety standards, • Review and evaluate radiographic images for quality and accuracy, • Accurately document patient procedures and maintain medical records, • Monitor radiology equipment performance and report issues as needed, • Maintain inventory of radiology supplies, • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, • Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications, • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamQualifications, • 2–5 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required, • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required, • ARRT certification required, • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety, • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting, • Excellent communication and patient care skills, • High attention to detail and quality standards, • Flexibility to work variable and extended shifts, • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
