Medical Assistant/ X-Ray Technician (California Licensed) At Burbank Urgent Care, you won’t just be performing tasks, you’ll be making a meaningful impact every single day. Requirements: Medical Assistant Responsibilities • Prepare patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-care support, • Assist with patient transport (wheelchairs, gurneys), • Sterilize and maintain instruments per compliance guidelines, • Maintain treatment room cleanliness and turnover efficiency, • Manage medical supply inventory and stocking, • Ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance, • Support providers and clinical staff as needed X-Ray Technician Responsibilities • Perform high-quality diagnostic x-rays and upload to PACS, • Apply casts, splints, and braces under provider guidance, • Assist with minor procedures (bandaging, suture/staple removal), • Maintain x-ray equipment and compliance standards, • Manage supply ordering and storage, • Support scheduling and clinical flow as needed, • Maintain HIPAA compliance Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent, • Active California Radiologic Technician license, • Current BLS certification, • Proficiency in EMR/EHR/PACS and Microsoft Office, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Knowledge of orthopedic injuries and anatomical terminology, • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking ability, • Ability to lift to 25 lbs. and assist with patient movement, • Professional demeanor and flexibility with scheduling
