Day shift $23.18 per hour Quarterly Performance Bonus Career Advancement Opportunities Paid Holidays and PTO Summary: The Logistics Associate/ Tarping will be responsible for shipping, receiving, stocking, and delivering parts, supplies, and products in the organization. Responsibility for ensuring and executing all relevant shipments are Tarped. Essential Duties: • Ensure all shipments are correctly loaded and protected prior to departure of the facility & tarped where applicable, • Perform safety checks on harnesses, ladders, and safety lifelines to ensure they are safe to use prior to each use and compliant with current safety standards and regulations., • Direct traffic within the work area to ensure a smooth flow of trucks to minimize delays., • Load and offload Incoming material & goods as required., • Record keeping - Outgoing loads, ensuring loads meet all quality standards., • Address any issues promptly (e.g., loose straps, damaged tarps)., • Coordinate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatchers to schedule tarping activities., • Work efficiently to minimize loading and unloading time., • Loads, unloads, moves, and stages materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site., • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, • Load vehicles according to the loading diagrams and shipping procedures on time, using a forklift., • Follow the Group Code of Conduct and Group Compliance. Follow Compliance requirements per “KNA-SOP-1705 Compliance Roles and Responsibilities.” • Complete other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: • High School graduate min or other relevant experience preferred., • Fluent in English. Other Skills and Requirements: • Forklift certification min 2 years’ experience or equivalent equipment., • Good to excellent communication skills., • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills., • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively., • A team player, who should also be self-motivated and able to work independently., • High level of interpersonal skills, • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills. Computer Skills: • Computer experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. Adjusting body movements to match the pace of moving objects., • Sensory Requirements: Near and far visual acuity for spotting defects or reading gauges. Hearing alarms, instructions, or machinery sounds. Peripheral vision for monitoring surroundings., • Cognitive & Environmental Factors: Maintaining focus in noisy or fast-paced environments.
