Overview The Field Performance Technicians are responsible for the management, scheduling, and completion of all service and warranty related work. The Field Service / Field Performance Technician must have the ability to work both independently and as a member of the Performance O&M team. This position will interact closely with the customers, Branch Manager, the Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the centralized scheduling Field Service Team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule. * Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed * Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians. * Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices * Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team * Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed * Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required * PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred * High School diploma is required LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (include where appropriate) * Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check. Summary: New York Edge is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Director who will assist in the overall administration of the New York Edge After-School Program under the supervision of the After-School Program Director, including but not limited to implementing enrichment activities, theme-based projects, scheduling activities, daily supervision of staff, record keeping and reporting, communicating with parents, and organizing special events. The Assistant Director covers the site in the absence of ASPD under the supervision of the Program Manager. Schedule: Monday – Friday (Days/shifts vary depending on site needs, usually 12pm - 6pm) This role requires you to be in person. Pay: $25 - $30/hour Essential Job Functions: * Directly responsible for the overall supervision of academic counselors and an academic component of the after-school program * Prepare alternative activities to implement during homework sessions that complement the academic session * Provide a seamless day that aligns homework sessions with day school standards of learning * Responsible for leading trips off-site and supervising students and staff for the duration of the entire outing * Encourage and lead projects that foster academic, cultural, and artistic growth * Provide coverage for activity specialists * Promote teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship, including ultimate responsibility for youth behavior at the site and on trips. * Communicate the program’s challenges, progress, and success with After-School Program Director. * Ensures the Afterschool program is compliant with all DYCD, DOE, and DOHMH regulations and timelines and stays abreast of all local, state, and federal pandemic management conditions and requirements. * Other duties as assigned Required Skills: * Able to work late afternoons and/or evenings. * Knowledgeable and skilled in Academics, Sports, or Arts programs and have prior experience successfully teaching and instructing youth in Academics, Sports, or Arts. * Knowledge of the New York City Department of Education Qualifications: * Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree or demonstration of actively completing a B.A. Degree. * A minimum of one year of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. We have an immediate need for a part-time (20-hours per week) Treatment Plant Operator located in the vicinity of the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant (NWIRP), Bethpage, New York. The Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance (O&M), monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing various treatment plants. These may include groundwater treatment plants, wastewater pretreatment/treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants, soil vapor extraction/air sparge (SVE/AS) systems, or other treatment plants. The Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for general plant and property maintenance and implementation of onsite safety and quality control. Assist with repairs and treatment plant upgrades or modifications., • Prepare daily reports to be emailed to the Project Manager., • Prepare monthly reports including discharge monitoring reports, • Oversee onsite activities to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations., • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory., • Assist in generating Request for Information and Change Order documents, including labor and materials costs for necessary maintenance., • Prepare internal reports pertaining to job status., • Oversee subcontractors, • Familiarity/experience with operation/control of:, • Remote recovery wells, • Air Stripping, • Bag Filtration, • GAC filtration, • Advance oxidation process (AOP), • Minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training., • Licensed Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator., • OSHA 40 hr HAZWOPER Training preferred., • Basic mechanical skills to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and direct repairs on groundwater extraction and treatment system components., • Ability to work in the field on hazardous waste sites., • Must be able to occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds., • Must be a US citizen and can obtain security clearance/badges for access to secure military installations., • Must possess valid US driver’s license and good driving record.
