And, we’re just getting started! /p pWith over 1000 global FlyMates, representing more than 40 nationalities, and in 14 offices world-wide, we’re looking for FlyMates to join the next stage of our journey as we continue to grow. /p h3Software Engineer, Payments Platform /h3 pbWork for a global payments leader, consistently ranked one of the best companies to work for. /b /p pWe’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build and scale the platform behind Flywire’s global payment engine, moving hundreds of millions every day across education, healthcare, travel and B2B payments. /p pThis role is hybrid/office based in bValencia, Spain /b. This is crucial. We also welcome applications from candidates based in other cities in Spain who are open to relocating to Valencia. /p pThis role is a role for someone with around b2 years /b software engineering experience who wants to continue building strong technical foundations while working on real, high impact systems. /p pYou’ll be working on business critical technology that directly affects payment speed, reliability and client experience. The role offers the opportunity to learn across backend, full stack, cloud, platform engineering and AI enabled development while contributing to systems used by clients across multiple industries. /p pFlywire is actively adopting AI across the business, including within Engineering. This role is suited to someone who is curious about modern development practices, interested in how AI can improve engineering effectiveness and keen to keep learning as technology evolves. /p h3Role Focus /h3 pDepending on final team placement, the role may lean backend or full stack, so we are open to candidates with: /p ul lifull stack experience /li liexperience in other programming languages /li listrong software engineering fundamentals /li lithe ability to learn new technologies quickly /li licuriosity around AI, LLMs and agentic development tools /li /ul pYou’ll work with modern engineering teams across Java, Ruby, React, AWS, distributed systems, LLMs and agentic AI tools. You do not need prior experience with this exact stack.
