Solutions Architect – Overview The Solutions Architect is a commercially driven and technical expert with a proven track record in both Technical Consulting and Pre‑Sales across the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) and Product Design and Manufacturing (MFG) verticals. This role supports Account Managers and Sales professionals to grow new revenue and margin from their territory or portfolio of accounts, and delivers paid consulting engagements around BIM, Cloud, and related process and technology implementation. The ideal candidate builds a trusted advisor position through deep expertise and demonstrated delivery of engagements. Pre‑Sales Responsibilities • Drive discovery meetings, workflow reviews, business process reviews, and workshops to uncover business opportunities for Graitec., • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve new‑business growth targets from both new and existing customers., • Build proposals for software, services, and project delivery; advise customers on software selection, system platforms, integrations, and connected solutions., • Provide assistance to sales staff during pre‑sales negotiations. Consulting Responsibilities • Manage projects from pre‑sales handover to project closeout., • Create detailed scoping documents outlining timelines, roles, and responsibilities., • Produce all relevant documentation to meet Graitec project standards., • Assess potential risks and implement mitigation strategies., • Agree key milestones with customers and ensure they are met., • Coordinate with technical delivery teams, including integration and other internal groups, to deliver on time and on budget., • Keep customers updated on project progress., • Leverage relationships to identify follow‑on opportunities. General Company Duties • Assist Customer Acquisition and Marketing teams with business development., • Provide regular feedback to the R&D team on product enhancements., • Ensure data accuracy and quality to support traceability., • Deliver regular reports and forecasts to empower company decision‑making. Key Performance Indicators • Meet or exceed new‑business ACV margin targets (monthly, quarterly, annual)., • Generate customer referrals, testimonials, and case studies per Marketing guidelines., • Maintain high customer satisfaction (Net Promoter Score)., • Ensure data accuracy and transparency on activity. Must‑Have Experience • Extensive experience in BIM, Autodesk AEC/ACS, or MFG products., • Strong understanding of the construction or manufacturing industry., • 4+ years of pre‑sales experience for complex software, SaaS, and services to B2B customers in CAD, AEC, or MFG markets., • Demonstrated ability to lead workshops or discovery meetings to identify new business opportunities with existing accounts., • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a growing, fast‑paced environment. Nice to Have • Experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction markets., • Experience selling or supporting Autodesk SaaS solutions., • Recognized project management qualification., • Relevant construction, engineering, or equivalent qualification.
