In addition, Recurrent Energy’s services business has 6 GW of projects under operations and maintenance /ppcontracts, either operational or contracted projects /ppbr/ppbRole /b /ppThis position offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals across plant infrastructure, operating systems, cybersecurity, and energy management, contributing to the development, optimization, and security of our systems. /ppThe specialist will support the design and implementation of the cybersecurity program, working in close collaboration with network and cybersecurity leads. In addition, they will provide technical support to network engineers and system administrators in the commissioning and day-to-day operation of plant systems. /ppThis role requires hands-on expertise in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and energy control systems, with a strong focus on ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of operational assets. /ppbr/ppbKey responsibilities: /b /ppPlant Infrastructure Operating Systems Support: /pulliMaintain and optimize plant infrastructure to ensure reliable and efficient operation of physical and virtual environments. /liliAdminister and improve operating systems within plant and OT environments, ensuring stability, performance, and security. /liliMonitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot incidents across servers, networks, and industrial hardware. /liliCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to define, document, and improve processes for system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management. /liliProvide technical expertise for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational impact. /li /ulpbr/ppCybersecurity Program Global Energy Management System for SCADA Control Support: /pulliConduct cybersecurity risk assessments on plant and OT systems, identifying vulnerabilities and defining remediation actions. /liliEnsure security controls for energy management systems, including SCADA environments, are implemented, maintained, and aligned with applicable standards (e.g., NIST 800-82 and NERC environment). /liliMonitor network activity and system access to detect anomalies, security breaches, and potential threats, supporting incident response activities when required. /liliContribute to the design and implementation of cybersecurity best practices for SCADA and industrial control systems (ICS). /liliSupport the integration of cybersecurity requirements into operational technology environments, ensuring secure-by-design principles are applied. /liliEnsure IT protocols such as but not limited to Change Management and company Cyber Security protocols /liliDefine cyber security software to align with business objectives /li /ulpbr/ppbRequirements /b /pulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. /liliSolid understanding of plant infrastructure, operating systems, and/or SCADA/Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments. /liliDeep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, with familiarity in network security concepts and OT security fundamentals. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical issues and propose effective, practical solutions. /liliAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams. /liliStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with technical and operational stakeholders. /liliCustomer-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on service quality, reliability, and operational excellence. /liliProactive attitude, with motivation to continuously learn and contribute to the improvement of systems and processes. /liliKnowledge of NIS2, GDPR and NERC rules and regulations /liliProficiency in both English and Spanish /li /ul
