SHA Wellness Clinic is a global leader in integrative health, prevention and longevity, and has been named “World’s Best Wellness Clinic” at the World Spa Awards for multiple consecutive years. Through the SHA Method, we combine cutting-edge medical innovation, proven natural therapies and healthy nutrition to help people achieve and maintain an optimal state of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Since opening in 2008, SHA has transformed the lives of more than 65,000 guests worldwide and continues to expand its impact, with our flagship in Spain, a new destination in Mexico and future openings in Dubai and the Emirates. SHA is a Green Globe-certified brand with a truly multicultural team, united by a mission to create transformative and memorable experiences for every guest. We are looking for a HR Director to lead the People & Culture function at SHA Spain in El Albir, Alicante. This is a highly visible, hands‑on and business‑facing role for an experienced hospitality HR professional who can connect people strategy with operational realities, service excellence and business performance. Reporting to the General Manager of SHA Spain and the Corporate Chief People Officer, you will act as a trusted partner to the property leadership team while managing and developing the local People & Culture team. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment where multiple priorities, complex employee situations and changing business needs require sound judgment, strong organisation and a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach. Key Responsibilities Act as the People & Culture Business Partner to the General Manager, management team and operational leaders at SHA Spain. Lead, develop and support the local People & Culture team, providing clear direction, coaching, accountability and professional development. Ensure the People & Culture function is visible, accessible, proactive and closely connected to the day‑to‑day operation. Partner with department heads to anticipate workforce needs and provide practical people solutions that support operational performance, employee experience and service excellence. Manage a wide range of employee relations, performance, engagement, development and organisational matters with maturity, discretion and emotional intelligence. Balance people, operational and commercial considerations when advising managers and making decisions. Operate effectively within a matrix structure, ensuring close alignment between SHA Spain and the Corporate People & Culture functional teams. Build strong, trusted relationships across all functions and levels of seniority, from operational teams to senior leadership. Support the implementation of People & Culture initiatives, policies and programmes in line with SHA’s standards, values and business priorities. Navigate multiple priorities simultaneously, identifying what requires immediate attention while maintaining quality, consistency and follow‑through. Contribute to SHA’s continued growth by supporting a high‑performing, engaged and guest‑focused culture. Travel to other SHA properties when required. Requirements Solid People & Culture or Human Resources management experience within hotels, hospitality or another highly operational service environment. Strong experience in luxury hospitality, luxury hotels, wellness, lifestyle or premium guest‑experience businesses is highly preferred. Proven experience leading and developing diverse HR or People & Culture teams. Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner, working directly with General Managers, operational leaders and senior stakeholders. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand how people decisions influence operational performance, guest experience and business results. Experience managing complex employee relations and sensitive people matters in a pragmatic, fair and solution‑oriented way. Ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with competing priorities and high standards of execution. Experience working in international, multicultural and growing organisations. Comfortable working within a matrix or dual‑reporting structure, with strong stakeholder‑management and influencing skills. Excellent organisation, prioritisation, communication and problem‑solving skills. Fluent Spanish and English are essential. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hospitality systems, HR tools and Business Intelligence platforms is valued. Availability to travel between SHA properties when required. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is energetic, credible, commercially minded and genuinely passionate about people. The ideal candidate combines strong management capability with emotional intelligence. You know how to adapt your communication style to different situations and stakeholders, while maintaining high standards, consistency and accountability. You are comfortable making decisions, addressing difficult conversations and moving complex matters forward without losing sight of the human impact. You enjoy being close to the operation. Rather than operating as a purely corporate HR function, you understand that an effective People & Culture team in hospitality must be present, responsive and deeply connected to the guest experience and the people who deliver it every day. You will also be comfortable in an international, multicultural and expanding organisation, where change is constant and where collaboration across properties and functions is essential. What We Offer The opportunity to play a meaningful role in one of the world’s leading health, longevity and wellness brands. A strategic and operational position with direct exposure to the General Manager, Corporate Chief People Officer and senior business leaders. The opportunity to lead and develop the People & Culture team at SHA Spain. A dynamic international environment across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East. The opportunity to contribute to SHA’s continued growth, including new destinations and international expansion. A purpose‑driven workplace where people, wellbeing, excellence and service are at the centre of everything we do. SHA is more than a workplace; it is a unique environment where nature, science and purpose meet. Every day, our team helps people transform their lives, and you will grow alongside extraordinary people in an environment built on excellence, evolution, integrity, care and happiness. We are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. You will join a truly international team where different perspectives are valued and everyone can grow based on merit and talent. If you are a people‑focused hospitality professional who wants to make a tangible impact on a high‑performing, growing and purpose‑led organisation, we would love to hear from you.
