Job Description We're hiring a Test Automation Engineer to join the Quick Commerce Global Services team in Barcelona, to support the Delivery Hero Group's ecosystem with unique technologies. YOUR MISSION In this role, you'll have the unique opportunity to combine Glovo's vibrant, fast-paced culture with the reach and complexity of the Delivery Hero Group, one of the world's largest local delivery platforms. You'll be part of a Central Team based in Barcelona, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that support the entire global ecosystem of the Group. THE JOURNEY • Advocate for quality across the team, • Contribute to and execute the quality strategy, applying QA processes and practices, • Automate critical end-to-end flows, assisting engineers with test automation, • Investigate and respond to troubleshooting requests raised by our local teams around the world, • Monitor product quality metrics, logs, and alerts, and recommend observability improvements, • Perform exploratory testing and other hands-on validation activities to complement automated testing, • Identify and document test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage across functionalities, • Enhance automation tools, • Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, data experts, and product managers to continuously improve our vendor-facing applications Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, • 2+ years of android app testing experience, • 2+ years of test automation experience (e.g., Appium, RestAssured, Cucumber), • Strong knowledge of OOP languages (e.g., Java/Kotlin), • Experience with test strategy, case creation, and documentation, • Ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and transpose them into clear concise documentation, • Proficient English communication skills Nice To Have • Experience with Appium/Espresso, • Software development experience (Android experience is a plus), • Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., GCP)., • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Drone CI, GitHub Actions, Bitrise etc)., • Strong experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools like Grafana, Crashlytics, or Sentry Additional Information Individuals representing diverse profiles, and abilities, encompassing various genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds, are less likely to apply for this role if they do not possess solid experience in 100% of these areas. Job Description We are on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join our Quick Commerce team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. Be part of redefining how customers experience quick commerce. You’ll help build technology that scales our non-food offerings, reaching new market segments and driving revenue growth. By innovating within our Quick Commerce Team, you’ll make Delivery Hero the go-to platform for a broad range of products, helping us grow faster and deliver more value to customers around the world. We are building the AI engine that helps vendors upload and update their catalog on our platform in the easiest and quickest way possible. As a Data Scientist, you will work side-by-side with Data Engineers and Software Engineers to design, build, and deploy ML models that automate content creation and power a smarter product assortment. This is a role for someone who has a strong background in applied ML, particularly in Computer Vision, and is hungry to build a reliable and scalable image recognition system. You will drive hypotheses, validate model accuracy, and bring ML-powered services to recognize and categorize products images into production with real business impact. If you’re a strong coder with a problem-solving mentality and thrive in high-scale applied ML problems, we’d love to talk. THE JOURNEY • Experiment, and deploy AI/ML models/Agents to automate products images recognition at scale., • Drive experimentation: formulate hypotheses, validate model performance , analyze business impact, and turn insights into production-ready models., • Develop and provide ML models to intelligently recognize products based on their images, extracting product details (like barcode, name), product categorization, etc., • Keep yourself up to date and apply state-of-the-art models (e.g., in NLP, deep learning, control vision, classification, LLMs/AI agents) to see what truly works best for us., • Collaborate closely with MLEs and Engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and fast in production., • Contribute to the long-term vision of products image recognition, while delivering short-term wins that unlock measurable business impact. Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or a related field., • 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist focusing heavily on Computer Vision (CV)., • Deep expertise in relevant frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)., • Proven experience with Object Detection, Image Segmentation, and Classification., • Experience with model versioning, tracking (MLflow, Weights & Biases), and ensuring models are deployable in production environments (Docker, Kubernetes), • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical problems and solutions to both engineers and business stakeholders. Nice To Have • PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field., • Experience integrating ML models into low-latency real-time API services., • Experience in fine tuning Large Language Models., • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)., • Proven ability to design and scale ML systems under strict latency, throughput, and cost constraints, balancing innovation with operational excellence.
