About the job ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Contact all Suite and Bungalow guests before their arrival to assist them preparing for their stay. Make bookings and coordinate guest itineraries. Recommend all outlets of the hotel to maximize hotel revenue. Build relationships with local vendors to ensure our VIP guests receive the best service all around the island. Coordinate guests’ arrival amenities and personal touches throughout their stay. Greet guests upon arrival and be their point of contact throughout their stay. Identify and resolve all guest opportunities to their satisfaction. Provide a fond farewell to all guests and ensure they had a memorable stay. $9.75 per hour + Gratuity range 10$/12$ per hour + tips Work permit costs and processing Plane tickets for relocation to Cayman covered up to USD $1800 2 weeks accommodation upon arrival (can be extended up to 3 weeks if needed) Employee canteen for complimentary meals during work days Uniforms provided and laundered Medical insurance (employee premium covered at 50% for non-mgmt roles; 100% for management) 2 weeks paid vacation Pension: 5% match after a 9-month grace period Overtime pay (x1.5 of hourly rate) over 9 hours per day or 45 hours per week Double pay (x2 of hourly rate) on public holidays (12 per year); Hotel discounts in IHG Hotels worldwide 50% discount in Kimpton Seafire & Hotel Indigo Restaurants, plus 50% discount in Restaurants when traveling and staying in the hotel on an employee rate Managers: Dry cleaning of professional clothing, parking in garage, use of hotel gym Department: Guest Relations Concierge About you Hospitality degree is preferred 1+ years of experience as a VIP Concierge or Guest Relations coordinator in a luxury resort Ability to adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities of guests, ensuring quality service to all guests. Maintain decorum in stressful situations. Proficiency with MSFT Office Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately. Opera, Alice and HOTSOS This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
