With fast growing teams in Spain and across the EU, we continuously and strategically develop our international presence. For our growing team, we are seeking an Information Security Consultant. Preferably, you already live in Spain. We offer you the opportunity to work remotely. Traveling to our customers in Spain (mainly based in Barcelona) and to our Cybersecurity Competence Center in the Netherlands (couple of times a year) is part of the job. Our renowned customers trust our expertise in enhancing their information security. You will be responsible for conducting strategic threat modeling, risk assessments, and compliance audits. Additionally, you will advise, train, and support companies in complex areas of information security and relevant security standards. Your tasks as an Information Security Consultant include: • Conducting consulting assignments in the field of information security and compliance • Performing assessments based on recognized control frameworks or specific frameworks used by B.V. Cybersecurity, such as Gap Assessments, Security Maturity Reviews, Threat Modelings, and Risk Assessments • Supporting organizations in implementing ISMS and CSMS in accordance with relevant standards • Active participation in the development of new services At Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity, we offer you the unique opportunity to develop into an information security specialist, actively shape knowledge groups, and build strategic consulting teams with us because we believe in our employees' potential and live collaborative growth. Do you recognize yourself in the following? • Several years of experience in IT security, with a special focus on information security • Knowledge of information security concepts, with a particular emphasis on digital infrastructures, network security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), etc. • Knowledge of various laws and regulations related to cyber and information security and current developments in this field • Relevant certifications in information security or willingness to acquire them • Sound knowledge of international information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001/27002, NIS2 Directive, BSI Basic Protection, or similar compliance frameworks • With native Spanish skills and excellent English competencies, you communicate complex IT security topics at the highest professional level - clearly, precisely, and convincingly • A results-oriented personality; you know how to address customers and colleagues • Willingness to travel when needed to meet customers, primarily in Spain.
