Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as Data Engineer! What do you need to fulfill this job? • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions to support data integration, transformation, and processing workflows., • Manage and maintain Oracle databases , ensuring performance, reliability, and integrity across data pipelines and data marts., • Build and automate ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data into analytical and operational data stores., • Develop Spring Boot services to support data ingestion, API-driven integrations, and backend automation., • Create, enhance, and troubleshoot Unix/Linux shell scripts to orchestrate jobs, automate data workflows, and manage system-level tasks., • Collaborate with Data Architecture and Analytics teams to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable data delivery., • Perform root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance tuning across database queries, ETL jobs, and application components., • Contribute to the design and evolution of data models and data mart structures , ensuring alignment with business and reporting needs., • Ensure compliance with data governance, quality standards, and security requirements., • Support production environments, including proactive monitoring and incident resolution. Required Skills & Experience • Strong expertise in Oracle and advanced PL/SQL development., • Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting (bash, ksh, or similar)., • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining ETL processes and data integration workflows., • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts , star/snowflake schemas, and data mart modeling., • Strong experience building backend services with Java + Spring Boot ., • Familiarity with job schedulers (Cron, Autosys, Control-M, or similar)., • Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization techniques., • Ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues across multiple layers., • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows., • Knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns., • Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus., • Familiarity with Kafka, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
