Innovation, customer orientation, and excellence What is it like to be a Solar Array Electrical Engineer at DHV Technology? Solar Array Electrical Engineer at DHV Technology, you will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of solar arrays for space applications. You will be involved throughout the full product life cycle, from requirements definition to testing and integration, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure high reliability and performance in demanding environments. As a Solar Array Electrical Engineer at DHV Technology, your main responsibilities will include: Requirement Definition: Define and derive customer and product requirements in close collaboration with Systems Engineering and Project Management teams. 3D Mechanical Design: Perform 3D CAD design using SolidWorks, including solar cell laydown optimization, electronic component positioning, and complex harness routing. Electrical Architecture & Schematics: Design detailed electrical schematics in strict accordance with mission requirements and solar array architecture constraints. Select, trade off, and procure space-grade electrical and electronic components (EEE parts) to meet strict environmental and product requirements. Electrical Analysis: Perform critical electrical analyses, including power budget calculations, worst-case analyses, and component derating, to verify design margins and compliance. AIT & Testing: Author electrical test procedures, supervise test campaigns, evaluate test data/results, and generate formal test reports. Interface and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product integration. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Aerospace, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering. At least 1–2 years of professional experience in a similar engineering role. Fluent level of English, both written and spoken. CAD Modeling: Proficiency in 3D design and mechanical modeling using SolidWorks or CATIA.
