Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a HR Generalist to be based at our office in Toulouse. The Role: The role is focused on providing HR solutions that support the business objective as well as providing the relevant support to key stakeholders on all people issues and providing the relevant coaching/training to people managers enabling effective performance management and overall development of our people. The HR Specialist plays a key role in supporting HR operations and employee experience in France. The role is focused on delivering operational HR support that aligns with local legal requirements and company policies. This includes managing HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with French labor law, and supporting employee experience through efficient and professional HR processes. The HR Specialist serves as the key local HR contact for France and works closely with the regional and global HR teams to support the implementation of broader HR initiatives. The role reports to the regional HR Manager and works closely with the broader European HR team. Area of Responsibility HR Operations & Administration • First point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers in France., • Manage HR documentation across the employee lifecycle (contracts, amendments, probation, exits)., • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems in line with GDPR and audit requirements., • Ensure alignment with French labour laws and internal company policies., • Liaise with external vendors (e.g. payroll, occupational health, benefits) to support employee needs., • Support onboarding and offboarding processes and coordinate with relevant departments., • Track and monitor absence data, probation reviews, and other key HR metrics., • Assist in local implementation of global HR programs, policies, and initiatives., • Help prepare HR reports and management information upon request. Compliance & Policy Support • Ensure all HR practices meet internal compliance standards and French employment legislation., • Act as a local advisor on basic employment law questions, escalating complex matters when needed., • Support the HR Manager in responding to audits, policy reviews, and risk assessments. Employee Engagement & Culture • Support the delivery of employee engagement and well-being initiatives at a local level., • Help coordinate training completions and contribute to learning & development tracking., • Promote an inclusive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture in line with company values., • Act as a facilitator to LOB on Employee Engagement actions., • Supports the implementation of fair and ethical work practices to optimise employee engagement and wellbeing. Ensure full compliance with all internal and statutory requirements., • Provide robust, accurate guidance on matters of policy, processes and practices and that they meet all of our legal obligations as an employer and deploy consistent approaches to HR processes across the business., • Work closely with HR colleagues across the globe to ensure that we are sharing knowledge and best practices. Knowledge / Experience • Good experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in an international environment., • Strong working knowledge of French employment law and HR best practices., • Familiar with HRIS tools and confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)., • Experience managing HR documentation and administration across the full employee lifecycle., • Professional and discreet in handling sensitive employee matters., • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
