Health and Safety Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health and Safety Officer to join our Safety and Compliance team at Guild Care. You will support the Health and Safety Manager to ensure Guild Care complies with current health and safety legislation. You will assist in the delivery of Guild Care’s Health and Safety and Environmental strategies and promote a positive safety culture across the organisation.
You will also be expected to take on the responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of health and safety training for the organisation. No one day is the same. One day you might be carrying out a fire risk assessment in a charity shop, the following day you might be conducting audits in one of our three care homes.
The main responsibilities for the role include:
Site visits to ensure compliance
carrying out audits and risk assessments
Processing accident forms
Providing health and safety advice
Due to the nature of the role and the expectation to carry out site visits to our care homes, you will need to provide evidence that you have been vaccinated against Covid as per our company policy.
