Job title: Sous Chef
Work Location: East London, E20 1GN
Rate: £32,000
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 45 hours, 5 days a week, Mondays-Sundays, 10am - 11:30 on a rota basis (subject to change)

Job Purpose: As Sous Chef, you will be second in command. You will assist the Head Chef to manage staff training, meet KPI targets, maintain high standards in food safety, customer service, health and safety etc.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Food preparation and cooking
Continuously seek to improve the guest experience
Maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene
Lead, manage, develop, schedule and supervise the team
Training and development of all colleagues.
You will support and guide the whole team to achieve the highest attainable standards in terms of quality and variety of food
Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate
Manage wastage
Labour control

What qualities are we seeking?
Minimum 2 years experience as Sous Chef
Someone excited by the opportunity to deliver the experience to our guests.
Great English communication and leadership;
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Knowledge of Japanese food
Attention to details and presentation
Desirable:
IT proficiency, ie. familiar with the use of Google Sheets/ Google docs
Experienced in using Fourth hospitality
Food safety level 3
Health and safety training
