Area Sales Manager – North East Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs Salary - £Competitive DOE Our client, a leader in industrial process instrumentation, is seeking a results-drivenArea Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales activities across the North East region of the UK. As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding their presence across your territory. You’ll manage and grow key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and act as the trusted advisor to clients in a wide range of industries. The role ... • Lead sales across a defined territory (NE, DH, SR, DL, TS, YO, HU, DN), • Develop and grow long-term strategic accounts, including global and parent company accounts, • Identify and win new business through targeted prospecting and lead follow-up, • Deliver against monthly and annual sales targets aligned with the company’s strategic goals, • Implement sales and marketing initiatives within your region, • Maintain accurate records via CRM and contribute to sales reporting and forecasting, • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer strategies, • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best-in-class customer service and project delivery About You:, • ONC in Electrical/Instrumentation (Degree in Engineering is a plus), • Proven experience in field sales, preferably in industrial or technical environments, • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working autonomously, • Full, clean UK driving licence, • Comfortable with occasional overnight stays and flexible working hours What's on offer ...
