Company: Clipper Ventures / Clipper Round the World Yacht Race Department: Partnerships Reports to: Head of Partnerships Location: Office based in Gosport Salary: £28,00 - £30,000 dependent on experience Role Purpose The Partnerships Assistant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Partnerships team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of partner contractual rights across event and digital activity for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organised, keen to get stuck in and learn, and looking to develop into managing their own partner events and activations in future race editions. Key Responsibilities Partnerships Administration & Support • Support the Partnerships team with day-to-day administration across partner accounts., • Maintain accurate records of contractual rights, delivery trackers and timelines., • Assist with the coordination of digital rights delivery (social posts, content usage, newsletters)., • Help gather performance data, imagery and content for partner reports., • Support the creation of post-event and end-of-activation reporting. Event & Activation Support • Assist with the planning and delivery of events and activations (e.g. stopovers, sail days, hospitality)., • Support with the creation of assets e.g. partner guides, crew guides, • Support logistics such as guest lists, schedules and briefing notes., • Liaise with internal teams to support delivery requirements., • Be on-site at selected international events to support smooth execution and partner experience. Development & Progression • In the first race edition, the role will focus primarily on supporting delivery and administration., • With experience, training and proven capability, the role could progress to owning delivery of specific partner events or activations in the next race edition., • Opportunities to grow into managing a portfolio of smaller partners. Skills & Experience Essential • Highly organised with strong attention to detail., • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and a desire to get stuck in., • Confident communicator, both written and verbal., • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and deadlines., • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)., • Willingness to travel internationally for up to 2 weeks at a time, • Approx 2 stopovers during the 25-26 edition, • Approx 4 stopovers during the 26-27 edition Desirable • Previous experience in partnerships, events or administration., • Interest in sport, events or sailing., • Experience supporting client-facing activities.
