We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor join our Aviation business, working on a defence project at RAF Brize Norton. You will be responsible for for all commercial and contractual matters on the site allocated to them and should be able to effectively manage surveyors and/or assistant surveyors to successfully deliver that project. About you An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). Alternatively, a degree with some numerical or technical focus is advantageous. Relevant HND subjects include building/construction, urban and land studies, civil engineering and structural engineering. Adequate commercial experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Aviation business, in the Paving team, working on our project at RAF Brize Norton. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project(s), and have ultimate responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements. About you Proven technical and project management abilities in the Built environment Strong organisational and management skills Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implement safe systems of work Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment Solid experience from the Construction Industry , with a Civils background If your past experience doesn't match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
