Responsibilities • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit, • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff, • Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations, • Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction, • Upsell menu items where appropriate to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities, • Assist with food safety procedures in accordance with health regulations, • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow, • Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems Experience • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate, • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous, • Experience in guest services, serving, or culinary roles will be highly regarded, • Ability to demonstrate excellent time management skills and work efficiently under pressure, • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing purposes, • Kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus but not mandatory This role offers an engaging environment where you can hone your hospitality skills, work as part of a dedicated team, and contribute to memorable guest experiences. To perform any other reasonable task that the Registered Manager or his/her appointed deputy may ask from time to time. To act as driver and/or escort transporting young people to and from school, on shopping trips and activities., 28. To perform sleeping-in duties as required.
