Personal Assistant \n Pay Rate - £16.10 per hour via PAYE/£21.30 per hr. via Umbrella \n Contract Length - 9 months \n Location - Hove, BN3 - Fully Onsite \n Duties will include, but are not limited to: \n\n • Ensuring all communications and correspondence are compatible with a Screen Reader.\n, • Providing tailored administrative support in the office, including handling post, filing and note taking.\n, • Work closely with Executive to manage his diary, ensuring he is fully briefed before and during meetings and events.\n, • Work closely with Executive to manage his inbox.\n, • Providing in person visual support at online and in-person events, meetings, seminars and drop-ins.\n, • Verbally describing surroundings, especially in new environments.\n, • Troubleshooting if technical issues arise\n, • Ensuring necessary resources are sent to Executive prior to meeting.\n, • Ensuring you bring necessary resources for meeting/event.\n, • Communicating visual aspects of presentations and shared documents.\n, • Communicating visual ques\n, • Minute taking and logging actions.\n, • Respond to email and phone enquires.\n, • Carry out online research.\n, • Maintain positive communication and relationships with stakeholders, staff, and volunteers, gaining an in-depth understanding of networks.\n, • Arrange travel arrangements for in-person meetings and events.\n, • Providing visual assistance while walking, ensuring you have high level of attention to detail when describing obstacles.\n, • Take part in training, and support Executive when undertaking training that includes visual aspects.\n\n \n Requirements: \n\n • Able to clearly communicate with Rich, providing sighted support in a variety of environments.\n, • Excellent IT skills, experience managing a diary (Outlook) and using Microsoft 365.\n, • Confident in liaising with stakeholders on Rich’s behalf at meetings and events, enabling introductions and supporting networking.\n, • A positive can-do attitude with a willingness to be part of the team.\n, • Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information.\n\n \n Desirable: \n\n • Knowledge of Screen Reader Software\n\n \n If shortlisted, a recruiter from the team will contact you within 24–48 hours for an initial discussion.
