Job Title: Recruitment Consultant – Civils & Construction Location: Hybrid (Office/Home-Based) – UK Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive + Commission About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team, specialising in the recruitment of professionals within the civil engineering and construction sectors across the UK. This is a hybrid role, allowing a mix of remote work and office-based collaboration to suit both client engagement and flexible working. You will play a critical role in sourcing, matching, and placing skilled candidates into a variety of temporary and permanent roles, including site-based and office-based positions such as Engineers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Planners, and Project Managers. You will be part of a new growing arm of a business specialising in recruitment. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the civils and construction industry., • Understand client staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions., • Source, screen, and interview candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and databases., • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process – from role briefings and shortlisting to offer negotiation and post-placement support., • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline in core civils and construction disciplines. Key Requirements • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or related technical sectors., • Strong understanding of civils/construction project environments and roles., • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills., • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team., • Strong organisational and time-management abilities., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment software, • Full UK driving licence preferred (occasional site/client visits may be required).
