We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Gatehouse Veterinary Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Full-time hours are available, with part-time applications also considered. Gatehouse Veterinary Centre is a friendly, collaborative small animal practice with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient and client care. Our experienced team includes 8 Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Nurse, Veterinary Care Assistants, and a dedicated reception and admin team. As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice. This is a varied role where you will be fully involved in all aspects of nursing, including inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgery, nurse consultations, and client communication. You will be encouraged to take a hands‑on approach and work to your full clinical potential. This is a 12‑month fixed-term contract, working 36.5 hours per week across 4 days, Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm, with a 1 in 5 Saturday rota (8:00 am–3:00 pm). Part‑time applications will also be considered.
