The Complex Care Nursing Assistant is a key member of Seren Healthcare Solutions' Nurse-Led Clinical Team, providing high-quality, person-centred clinical and personal care to individuals with complex healthcare needs within their own homes and community settings. Working under the direction and delegation of a Registered Nurse, the post holder supports individuals with a range of complex conditions including neurological disorders, acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, physical and learning disabilities, and long-term health conditions. The role includes assisting with specialist clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, ventilator support, enteral feeding (PEG/PEJ), catheter care, bowel management, epilepsy management, clinical observations and medication support following appropriate training and competency assessment. The post holder will promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing whilst maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding, infection prevention, documentation, clinical governance and professional practice. As part of Seren's Nurse-Led Model of Care, the Complex Care Nursing Assistant will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care that improves outcomes and enhances the quality of life of those we support.
