Commercial Electrician – Solar PV An established commercial renewable energy contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Electrician to support the delivery of large-scale Solar PV projects across the UK. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong commercial experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the renewable energy sector, working on technically interesting and high-impact projects. This includes integrating renewable technologies into existing plant rooms and three-phase power systems. Projects are delivered across England, so flexibility to travel and stay away from home on a regular basis is essential. Key Responsibilities • Installation and commissioning of commercial-scale Solar PV systems, • Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements, • Working on three-phase systems and within plant room environments, • Supporting project delivery across multiple UK sites Experience & Requirements • Qualified Electrician with ECS Gold Card, • Proven experience in commercial electrical environments, including three-phase systems and plant rooms, • Strong ability to read and implement electrical drawings, • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations essential, • Level 3 Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent), • Solar PV experience desirable but not essential, • SSSTS desirable but not essential, • Team-focused approach with strong attention to quality and safety, • Full UK driving licence, maximum 6 points, and aged 25 or over for insurance purposes, • Right to work in the UK is essential as no sponsorships can be provided for this role, • Willingness to travel and stay away nationally This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business that invests in its people, values high standards, and offers clear progression as the company continues to expand.
