About the Role We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver with clamshell operating experience to join a busy construction team. This is a hands-on role working on active construction sites, requiring a confident and safety-conscious operator who can work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Operating a HIAB lorry-mounted crane with clamshell bucket attachment for the loading, unloading and movement of materials on construction sites Transporting materials, aggregates, spoil and construction waste to and from site Carrying out pre-use inspections of the vehicle and HIAB equipment Liaising with site managers and ground workers to ensure efficient material handling Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting in line with legal requirements Working safely in accordance with site rules, health and safety regulations and company procedures Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle at all times Requirements Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence HIAB / lorry loader licence (ALLMI or equivalent) Clamshell operating experience — preferred Valid CPCS or CSCS card — desirable Construction site experience preferred Strong knowledge of health and safety practices Excellent communication and time management skills...
