To work within our Catering department to assist with all aspects of basic food production and service, kitchen hygiene and other duties associated with the running of the School’s kitchen. • Basic food preparation, • Communicating with customers, • Setting up food service counters prior to service time., • Service of food to boys and staff and visitors, • Recovery of left over foods, • Cleaning of service counters, dining room, kitchen equipment, furniture and floors etc., • Use of dishwashers, Pot Wash and cutlery polisher, • Buffet work in all parts of the School, • Required to wear protective clothing and safety footwear, • Service and cleaning in Tuck Shop (when needed), • Other related duties as detailed by your line managers., • Working across all other areas within the Catering Department providing cover during periods of absence as and when required. The areas will include Pot Wash and Veg preparation., • To perform all reasonable duties to support the department as requested by the Catering Manager., • Regularly complete both online and in-person training on catering practices and school compliance requirements.

Duties Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Inspect vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and suspension systems. Identify and diagnose faults or issues that may affect vehicle performance or safety. Service and repair vehicles Communicate findings to customers clearly, providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order. * Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex vehicle systems. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools required for vehicle inspection and repair. Capability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks associated with vehicle testing and maintenance. To undertake vehicle road tests when necessary To perform other duties in support of other team members as required Excellent attention to detail, ensuring thorough inspections are carried out consistently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers regarding their vehicles' conditions.
