For additional details behind the University of Mississippi classification system please visit Human Resource Compensation Page Family -Administration Sub-Family -Program Coordination Career Track / Level - P1 Grade -5 MinMidMax $42640$53310$63981 • Develop and coordinate non-credit personal and community enrichment programs., • Identify new course opportunities based on community needs and interests., • Recruit hire and support qualified instructors., • Schedule classes and manage use of facilities and resources., • Oversee registration processes and monitor course enrollment., • Provide excellent customer service to participants and instructors., • Promote programs through marketing outreach and community engagement., • Manage program budgets revenue and expenditures., • Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and reporting., • Ensure offerings remain diverse accessible and high-quality., • Serve as the primary point of contact for the course., • Coordinate with internal staff external clients and vendors to ensure smooth course operations including registrants arrivals parking signage displays special accommodations printing and security if necessary., • Provide instructor(s) with course supplies equipment food and beverages and facility support as requested., • Ensure client needs are met spaces are serviced and rooms remain refreshed throughout the course., • Inspect and test audio-visual equipment prior to and during events; troubleshoot technical or audio issues as necessary., • Prepare and process post-event invoices reports and financial reconciliations for assigned events. 1. Assists in managing daily operations of the projects programs or office to which assigned., 2. Establishes and/or maintains a recordkeeping system for programs projects or office to which assigned and enters data into records or into system databases as appropriate and as needed., 3. Plans and develops methods and procedures for implementing projects., 4. Establishes and maintains productive relationships with state federal and private agencies as appropriate and as directed. Education:Bachelors Degree Substitution Statement: An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis. • Ability to manage the day-to-day operational responsibilities of course development and planning., • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with instructors registrants and vendors to plan and execute courses., • Ability to work at a fast pace and to work under time constraints., • Excellent attention to detail organization of workflow and calendars verbal and non-verbal communication with highly effective organizational and time management skills., • Ability to prioritize and develop solutions for effective decision making., • Ability to work independently prioritize and handle multiple tasks., • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Publisher Outlook.), • Ability to work outside of standard hours which may involve some early mornings evenings and/or weekends., • Ability to lift and/or move large objects.
