With over 30 years of experience, we are proud to be part of a community that has consistently achieved Good or Outstanding ratings from Ofsted across all our education services.\n \n\nYour Role and Responsibilities\n\n • Enhance the wellbeing, readiness for learning, resilience, and behavior management within Holdsworth School.\n, • Collaborate with the education team to support young people's personal and academic development by removing barriers to learning.\n, • Promote positive learning behaviors among students.\n, • Lead classes during PPA and absence cover, with planning support from teaching staff.\n, • Deliver engaging enrichment activities during golden time.\n, • Assist in lessons, addressing academic, pastoral, emotional, or behavioral needs.\n, • Respond to immediate concerns and clarify situations as they arise.\n, • Create and compile information related to lessons and interventions.\n, • Prepare relevant information for meetings about pupils.\n, • Be a strong advocate for the ethos of Holdsworth School.\n, • Lead on Reading and Phonics, tracking progress made by students.\n, • Develop the Pupil Voice initiative, collaborating with SLT on the Pupil Council.\n, • Build relationships with parents and carers, actively participating in transitions and consultations.\n\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n, • A strong educational background, with at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics, along with solid IT skills.\n, • Previous experience in a similar role, such as HLTA.\n, • Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.\n, • Confidence to take on additional responsibilities in areas like Food Hygiene, Forest School, Lunchtimes, or School Yoga.\n, • Proficiency in behavior management techniques.\n, • A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.\n\n\nWhat We Offer You\n\n, • A workplace that prioritizes the emotional health and wellbeing of everyone, including you!\n, • Support for your professional growth through a variety of development opportunities.\n, • The chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children who deserve high-quality teaching in a safe environment.\n
