Benefits: Competitive basic salary between £41,207 and £46,201, dependent on experience and qualifications On-target annual earnings of £49,775 to £56,750 through performance-related bonus scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service Access to comprehensive brand-accredited training and development programmes Pension scheme, healthcare options, life assurance, and staff purchase discounts Opportunity for career progression within one of the UK's largest automotive retail groups State-of-the-art workshop facilities supporting a professional working environment Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00am to 1:00pmDuties: Perform ongoing diagnostics on a variety of vehicles as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, identifying issues accurately using modern diagnostic tools Carry out complex warranty repairs and service tasks ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards Utilise your expertise as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults effectively Support and mentor Apprentice Vehicle Technicians, sharing knowledge and expertise to aid their development Assist less experienced colleagues with diagnostics and repairs, helping to improve team efficiency Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the workshop environment Accurately record all diagnostics, repairs, and servicing work performedRequirements: Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or Master Vehicle Technician Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical vehicle systems, with competency in complex diagnostics Experience with EV systems and hydraulic repairs is desirable but not essential Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points A dedicated, team-oriented individual who demonstrates a mentor mindset Ability to produce high-quality work in a busy, fast-paced dealership environment Motivated to meet targets and deliver excellent customer serviceThis vacancy represents a superb opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable Dealership offering excellent career progression and a supportive working environment.
