Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Dunstable – up to £50,000 + Overtime & Bonus - Days Only \n Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business at their Dunstable site. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-paced FMCG environment, offering great benefits, development opportunities and the chance to make a real impact in their engineering department. \n Salary: Up to £50,000 \n Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30, Friday 8am-4pm \n Benefits: \n\n • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays \n, • Annual performance bonus\n, • Workplace pension - 5% employer and 3% company contribution \n, • Employee referral scheme\n\n Responsibilities: \n As Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a vital role in maintaining and improving the operational and safety performance of the site machinery. Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Carrying out routine plant checks across chillers, compressors, vacuum systems and other machinery\n, • Assessing machinery and reporting any defects, ensuring unsafe equipment is prohibited from use\n, • Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns in collaboration with Shift Managers\n, • Recording issues and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement\n, • Conducting stock checks and requesting parts when required\n, • Supporting wider business success by carrying out ad-hoc engineering tasks as directed\n\n The Person: \n We are looking for a proactive and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with the ability to problem-solve under pressure while working collaboratively across teams. The successful candidate will have: \n\n • Proven experience within an FMCG environment (food or pharmaceutical advantageous)\n, • Time-served apprenticeship (minimum Level 3) in electrical engineering\n, • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems\n, • Experience working on PLCs\n, • Hands-on experience with workshop tools and equipment (e.g. mitre saw, pillar drill, hand tools)\n, • Strong attention to detail, logical problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude\n, • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to manage time and build effective relationships\n\n Suited candidates previously hold roles such as: \n Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Robotics Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. \n Apply now or to discuss this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, please contact Eleanor Crummey.
