In this role you will take charge of the day-to-day running of the estates team and facilities. From supervising the maintenance team and contractors, to overseeing compliance checks, portering, and hands-on maintenance tasks, you will enjoy a broad and interesting role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will bring experience in estates, premises, or facilities management, a proactive and practical approach, and the confidence to lead a small team. Strong organisational skills, solid knowledge of health and safety, and a hands-on attitude are essential. Experience in a school or public sector setting is desirable but not required. The Role: * Lead and supervise the estates team in their day-to-day duties * Manage and motivate a small maintenance team to deliver a high-quality service * Oversee all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, and health & safety * Liaise with contractors and ensure external works are carried out to a high standard * Manage portering services, including set-ups for events and occasional evening/weekend work * Support energy management monitoring and contribute to minor project works The Person: * Experience in estates, site, or facilities management * Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively * Strong working knowledge of statutory compliance, planned maintenance, and health & safety * Practical problem-solving skills across maintenance and building services * Confident, hands-on approach with good organisational skills Reference Number: BBBH261668 TPBN1_UKTJ
