A Multi-Skilled Technician delivers best-in-class planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities across Spirit Supply Processing on the Westthorn site, which comprises of Blend Centre, 3 x Tank farms, Tanker stations, Spirit preparation area, Vatting Halls, Demin plant and Chill plant . You will contribute to Continuous Improvement activities at Bacardi UK OC to ensure that : • Key metrics within Spirit Supply Operations are achieved, • Key maintenance metrics within Spirit Supply Engineering are achieved, • Spirit Supply assets, equipment and engineering systems are aligned with Bacardi, • standards, • Spirit Supply equipment is maintained to the best possible standard to ensure availability is, • maximized to allow for optimal asset performance, • All assets are inspected and maintained to meet legislative standards, • Strive to improve performance in line with World Class Manufacturing standards THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS • A multiskilled role requiring both electrical and mechanical skills, with a stronger emphasis on electrical., • Demonstrable experience working safely in a manufacturing / processing environment within a maintenance department or comparable technical services team., • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills., • Able to work individually and/or as part of a team, • 18th Edition, and SVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical field (Essential), • CompEx Ex 1-4 (desirable not essential), • Proficient in interpreting and explaining electrical schematic drawings, • Knowledge of electrical sensors and their applications., • PLC, Control systems and electrical panel fault finding, • Experience of instrumentation and PID loops., • Experience working on 3ph motor controls, VSDs, and Servo drive control systems, • CompEx Ex11 (desirable not essential), • Sound mechanical fitting techniques and skills. - Pumps, Valves, Pipework, Hoses, etc, • Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour., • Have flexibility (including overtime if required) and maintain high levels of self-motivation to achieve high standards of performance and behaviour, • Lives the 3 F’s – Fearless, Founder’s Mentality, Family ARE YOU READY TO EMBARK ON YOUR NEXT MOVE?
