We’re looking for an experienced, confident and personable waiter/waitress who sees hospitality as a career and would like to become a long-term part of our small team. Bourne’s is a little different from your typical London restaurant. By day we’re a neighbourhood fishmonger specialising in exceptional fresh fish and seafood; by evening we become a busy, intimate seafood restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and a very personal style of service. This position would particularly suit someone who genuinely enjoys the restaurant business and wants to build their career in hospitality, rather than someone simply looking for a short-term or temporary job. We want somebody who takes pride in good service, enjoys building relationships with regular customers and wants to develop their knowledge of food, fish, seafood and wine. You should be: • Experienced in good-quality restaurant service, • Committed to hospitality as a career, • Looking for a stable, long-term position, • Warm, confident and naturally good with people, • Reliable and professional, • Comfortable working in a busy, intimate restaurant, • Interested in learning more about fish, seafood, food and wine, • Happy to take responsibility and use your own initiative, • A genuine team player who is prepared to muck in when necessary Because we are a small independent business, personality and attitude really matter. We’re not looking for overly formal or corporate service. We want someone professional but natural — somebody who enjoys talking to customers, remembers regulars and takes genuine pride in looking after people. For the right person, there is room to develop, take on more responsibility and grow with the business. Pay: £15–£20 per hour, depending on experience Location: Belsize Village, NW3 Start: Immediate
