CNC Operator – Manufacturing (Kawneer / Metal Technology Systems)\n\nLocation: Cardiff\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nIndustry: Manufacturing / Aluminium Window & Door Systems\n\nSalary: Up to £27k\n\nJob Overview\n\nRhino Recruitment recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator on behalf of a busy manufacturing client based in Cardiff. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery within the aluminium window, door, and curtain walling sector, specifically working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology systems.\n\nThis role is suited to someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Operate and set CNC machinery for aluminium fabrication\n\n * Manufacture aluminium window, door, and curtain wall components to specification\n\n * Read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules\n\n * Programme, adjust, and monitor CNC machines where required\n\n * Work with Kawneer and Metal Technology profiles and systems\n\n * Carry out quality inspections on finished products\n\n * Ensure all work is completed accurately and within production deadlines\n\n * Maintain machinery and keep work areas clean and safe\n\n * Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * Proven CNC operating experience within aluminium manufacturing\n\n * Previous experience working with Kawneer and/or Metal Technology window and door systems\n\n * Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications\n\n * Strong understanding of fabrication processes and machining techniques\n\n * High attention to detail and quality standards\n\n * Good communication and teamwork skills\n\n * Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious\n\nDesirable Skills\n\n * CNC programming experience\n\n * Experience with curtain walling systems\n\n * Forklift licence (advantageous)\n\n * Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
