About the Company The Internal Sales Account Manager will be responsible for developing both existing and new business opportunities within a growing and specialist organisation operating in the heating and energy solutions sector. This position is a varied and customer-focused role, involving the identification of new business, management of incoming project enquiries, and the delivery of exceptional service to a broad customer base. This includes tradespeople, developers, contractors, builders, installers, and end users. The business designs and supplies complete heating solutions across both residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth within the green energy sector, they are expanding their internal sales function and seeking a motivated individual who thrives on building relationships and achieving targets. This role offers genuine earning potential through an uncapped commission structure and the chance to play a key role in the company’s growth. Responsibilities Business Development • Identify and pursue new business opportunities using a variety of tools including databases and social media, • Proactively reach out to potential clients and generate new leads Account Management • Manage and grow an existing customer base, • Develop relationships with a diverse range of clients, from independent trades to larger developers and contractors Pipeline & Project Management • Handle incoming enquiries and assess customer requirements, • Review plans and specifications to produce accurate quotations, • Manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion Customer Support & Technical Advice • Act as a key point of contact for customers, • Provide guidance and support on products and solutions (full training provided), • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience (experience within construction, trade, or building supplies is advantageous but not essential), • Communication: Confident and professional telephone manner, with strong written communication skills, • Mindset: Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in generating new opportunities, • Organisation & IT Skills: Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Outlook) and comfortable using CRM systems Required Skills • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience, • Confident and professional telephone manner, • Strong written communication skills, • Self-motivated and target-driven, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Preferred Skills • Experience within construction, trade, or building supplies Pay range and compensation package • Uncapped commission structure, • 1-hour daily lunch break, • Opportunity for flexible working following successful completion of probation, • Annual leave increasing with service (20 days rising to 23 days)
