Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast, breaktime, and lunchtime meals to pupils and staff Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas Manage stock, place food orders, and monitor supplies Comply with Health & Safety, food safety, and hygiene legislation Support pupil care by being aware of allergies and following safeguarding procedures Undertake additional cleaning tasks to maintain overall standards Assist in minor first aid incidents under the guidance of the registered first aider Contribute positively to the school environment as part of the team Person Specification Knowledge of food safety, COSHH, and cleaning best practices Flexible, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team Good personal hygiene and ability to follow instructions Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, including lifting Willingness to undertake training and adapt to school needs This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your work directly contributes to the wellbeing, safety, and happiness of our pupils every day.
