As an FP&A Manager, you will support the FP&A Controller and work closely with the Financial Controller, Head of Commercial Finance, and Finance Director. You will also collaborate extensively with teams across Accounts Payable, Financial Accounting, Commercial Finance, and Treasury. Your Impact And Responsibilities… This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, financial planning, and business partnering support to central cost departments. A key focus of the position is the effective use and continuous improvement of financial systems, including optimising existing reporting and planning solutions within the Finance function. Looking ahead, the FP&A Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, development, and implementation of a new financial planning tool, helping to enhance insight, efficiency, and decision-making across the business. Key Measures of Success • Timely delivery of accurate, high-quality weekly, monthly, and annual financial reporting, • Successful delivery of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and five-year plans, meeting agreed timelines and business objectives, • Clear and effective communication of financial plans, insights, and recommendations to the senior leadership team, • Strong collaborative relationships, demonstrated through positive feedback from stakeholders across the FP&A team and the wider Finance function Skills And Knowledge… Qualifications & Technical Skills • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA), • Advanced financial systems knowledge, with particular experience in Oracle Fusion and EPBCS (SmartView), • Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills, • Advanced Excel capability Experience • Experience working in a multi-site environment is desirable; retail sector experience is strongly preferred, with exposure to discount retail considered an advantage, • Proven experience delivering objectives with a strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes, • Experience managing and adapting to significant change, with a track record of identifying and implementing improved ways of working Skills & Personal Attributes • Confident business partner, comfortable supporting and constructively challenging leaders and colleagues across the organisation, • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders, • Strategic thinker who can operate independently once objectives and direction are clear About Us...
