Key Responsibilities • Driving: Safely operate and navigate a Class 2 HGV to and from domestic and commercial job sites, adhering to all traffic laws., • Loading & Unloading: Physically lift, carry, and load heavy furniture or bulky goods in and out of the vehicle., • Packing & Preparation: Assist with wrapping, packing, and boxing fragile or household items., • Furniture Handling: Dismantle and reassemble beds, wardrobes, and other large furniture items on-site., • Compliance & Safety: Perform daily walk-around checks, secure loads safely, complete paperwork, and strictly follow driver tachograph rules., • Customer Service: Act as the face of the company, communicating arrival times and handling client concerns politely and professionally.
