Part-time housekeeper / cook / nanny required for family of 5 in Orpington to start ASAP. Previous housekeeping experience essential, and prior nannying experience would be beneficial too. Must be comfortable around children and pets (the family has one small cavapoo dog who is very friendly). The role will include morning school drop-off of eldest daughter who is 3 years old, and therefore a driver is essential, and you must have your own car. Hours required: 8am-12pm Monday to Friday. There is scope for babysitting the children should the candidate require extra hours per month. Housekeeping duties include: - Maintaining a clean kitchen - Laundry, organizing wardrobes, ironing - Cleaning the bedrooms and bathrooms - Changing towels and bed linen - Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, sanitizing surfaces - Tidying children play areas - Ensuring the dog water bowl is full, dog food is out, letting the dog out as required - Assist with running errands, such as food shopping and other household needs - Oversee contractors as needed for home maintenance and repairs The ideal candidate will be child-friendly, adaptive, understand the family's preferences and how they like their home cared for. The family are looking to hire somebody trustworthy and loyal and on a long-term basis.
