We are a ‘Bangladeshi and Indian Take-away restaurant’ with quality food and great customer service at all levels. We expect our kitchen manager will be responsible for the following duties: ● Managing and running the Kitchen smoothly ● Supervising kitchen staff. ● Ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety guidance. ● Overseeing stock levels and ordering kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand. ● Supervising food preparation in the kitchen and ensuring that customers are satisfied. ● Working with the Manager to create menu items, pricing and establishing portion sizes of each meal. ● Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of kitchen equipment and utensils and proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials. Above all, the kitchen manager will work within the organization's objectives and plans. Skills Set: ● Ability to plan menus, order materials and ingredients accordingly. ● Familiarization with a wide variety of recipes in Indian cuisine. ● Knowledge of nutrition. ● Maintaining hygienic and safe kitchen practices. ● Passion and motivation for a restaurant job.
